Jar Jar Binks

Jar Jar Binks is a clumsy, goofy Gungan who was a major character in the Star Wars prequels. He was voiced by Ahmed Best and was the first fully computer-generated supporting character in a live-action film. Jar Jar was intended to be a comic relief character, but he was met with overwhelming dislike from both critics and audiences. He is now recognized as one of the most hated characters in Star Wars and in the history of film in general. Some critics even consider him a racist caricature. Despite the hate, Ahmed Best has embraced the character and has even encouraged a fan theory that Jar Jar was originally intended to be a manipulative villain.
